Was uns jedoch auf dem Weg ins Zimmer und im Zimmer selbst erwartete, kann man nur als Renovierungs-Fail bezeichnen: Flur: Unsachgemäß verlegte Fliesen und hochstehende Teppichkanten stellen eine deutliche Stolpergefahr dar. Zimmer: Der Zustand war schlichtweg...

"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"Achtung! Finger weg von diesem Hotel. Der Fairness halber das Positive vorweg: die Lage ist malerisch, die Zimmer relativ frisch renoviert. Das Personal und die Behandlung können allerdings nur als Zumutung beschrieben werden. Wir wurden von einem älteren Herren nicht etwa freundlich begrüßt, sondern nur lakonisch gefragt, „ob wir die Expedia-Leute“ seien. . Der zweite Satz: Wir hätten viel zu wenig bezahlt - 80 Euro - und wir bekämen kein Frühstück (obwohl wir noch gar nicht danach gefragt...
