"Everything was perfect , we had an upset with our car hire and Hideo came and pick3 us up from the bus station. He stopped on. The way home at the supermarket, organised for my friend to see local acupuncture Dr, and if that wasn’t enough his beautiful wife helped to prepare the dinner a traditional Japanese meal!The next day Hideo took us on a tour and accommodated all our varied interests, it was wonderful This morning he delayed a trip for himself to take us to the bus, the whole stay was magnificent!"

"If you want to experience traditional ryokan with fabulous meals, this is the place for you. It is a bit dated like visiting your relative’s house in the small town. It’s surrounded by maple forest, like living in a nice cabin. This is not modern hotel, if you set your expectation right, you will not be disappointed. All the stuffs are so kind and warm. They are great people dedicated to their jobs and it makes me want to visit Kyoto again."

"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all.
