We were so happy with our choice with GRAND BASE. Room to move and put luggage, spotless, secure, easy to check in and so very close to all the historical areas we wanted to explore. Easy walk to many restaurants and the ferry boat to Miyajima. We would strongly recommend this apart/hotel.

This is a beautiful and cozy place to stay in Hiroshima. It's clean, spacious, and got everything you could want to make your stay comfortable, i.e. washing machine, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, pjs, slippers, plenty of towels, etc. Aya and Saichi are such nice, friendly hosts to help you with all your needs.

Family Trip

We only stay for 2 nights. Location was great, close the Peace Memorial Park area and train line. It just took a bit longer to do the self check in. Otherwise was a great experience.

Best stay for someone on a budget!

The best, cleanest, most comfortable place I have ever stayed in at a very reasonable price! And I have traveled to more than 25 countries on a limited budget! Definitely stay there next time I’m in Hiroshima area!

The apartment was top notch - very impressed with this property: modern, very clean, and had enough room for a family of five. Very close to landmarks like atomic bomb dome and peace memorial. Staff was super nice and extremely helpful! Stay at this property when you are in the area and I’m sure you will be extremely happy as well.

Served my family (2 adults, 2 teens) well for our stay in Hiroshima. The full grocery store around the block makes for a great option when you’re looking to feed hungry teens and would like a little more choice than the usual convenience store fare.

Location is pretty great, in a quiet neighborhood close to a streetcar station and right across the bridge from Peace Park. The room was also nice with a good amount of space for our family of 5. The only issue is the check in process, which was not particularly straightforward since there is no desk attendant. It was difficult and took forever to enter everyone's information and scan passports on the little ipad, especially when we were tired and all we wanted was to go to our room. The user interface needs to be improved so that most of the information can just be copied to everyone.

Basic hotel in good location

We had a nice stay at the hotel, in a large room (Standard B non smoking).with seating area. Was worth paying the extra for more space. It was a self service hotel without reception staff. If you needed assistance, there was a button to press on one of the kiosks in the lobby area that connected you via videolink to someone to speak to. Luckily, we didnt really need much help so it was ok but would've still preferred someone to speak to face-to-face. Location is 15-25 mins walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Girl, Hiroshimas Castle, art museum and Peace Memorial Gardens. I would recommend the hotel is you're looking for a basic hotel in a good location. There is self service luggage storage if you want to leave your bags for a while after check our. Note: checkout is quite early, 10am so make sure you factor this in for your stay. We tried to get a later checkout but were told we couldn't because of the cleaning schdule.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our two kids (aged 8 and 10) and would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Hiroshima with family. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities. The washing machine was great and the drying room in the shower worked well. The apartment even included laundry liquid and hangers with pegs. Even though we visited in a heat wave, the aircon worked well. We stayed in apartment F - which technically slept 8. We were very comfortable as a family of 4, but all the beds were doubles, so more could have used the room. The location was superb. Easy, pleasant walk to the Peace Park, museum, ferry to Miyajima and Orizuru Tower (tower with observation deck, interactive room for kids and a slide to the bottom!). There was also a lovely supermarket (Spark) just around the corner and some great little restaurants (Okonomiyaki Carp, Parco della Pace and Roti bakery were highlights). Oh and a little playground about 2 blocks away. I was a bit apprehensive about checking-in using the iPad, but that was easy. Just allow a bit of time for it. On our last day we weren't leaving Hiroshima until the afternoon, so we left our suitcases in the lobby in the self-storage system for a couple of hours, which worked very well.

It was a small hotel near the Peace Memorial Park, making it easy to walk to the park and the museum without a lot of crowds. The rooms were nice and big, giving us lots of space to relax.
