「Had a wonderful stay in the refurbished hotel. Had the most comfortable nights sleep, so much so that we are looking to buy the mattresses they use. The comfy double was just what we needed. The bathroom didn't look to be refurbished but was fine as it was apart from a leaky shower hose. We were supplied with plenty of drinks to choose from and 2 packets of biscuits. 「The room was amazing!! We had a great time exploring around the town. The parking was a little tricky but being there on a weekend meant we were able to use the additional parking from the business next door. 」

「A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! 」

「Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.」
