"What an amazing place to stay! I can't recommend it highly enough. Selina was an amazing host, offering great communication and attention to detail. The hike up to the top of the mountain is incredible, and the views are stunning. The house is so clean and nicely decorated...so comfortable. I will definitely be back!"

"10/10. It was a short stay, but a wonderful stay. A perfect little retreat. Debi's property is beautiful. Even in winter. It was my mom and I and 4 pups! Thank you for allowing us to bring all 4. Debi had fresh OJ, lemon water, eggs, milk and coffee in the fridge and snacks for the dogs! Just a beautiful, peaceful place. Studio apartment (lower portion of her house) with porch, has wifi, I had no phone service but i didnt need it nor want it! Its perfect for wanting to be in nature. She gave us directions there and met us. Showed us around her property and where we'll be staying. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully one day can come back when the weather is warmer and garden in bloom!"

"Nestled on the top of a quaint mountainside group of homes about 5 miles from Happs! Marlett road - the last mile in is windy and narrow but you get used to it. It has key paved sections on the steep parts. We hiked it a few days for exercise! The hot tub was clean and nice and hot for our cool temperatures. They could use some porch lighting as it’s dark out there. Maybe some string lights or a sensor light? A guide book to the electric heating - which was super effective - would be helpful. It was 22/42 degrees outside over thanksgiving. We kept it cozy at 70. Fully stocked kitchen and amenities - amazing hot and cold water for the beautiful bathrooms and showers. Easily housed 5 of us. Really close to lake glenville public access - maybe 4 miles. Walked around there as well.The internet in the highlands / cashiers leaves something to be desired. Our first visit to the area - we learned the roads are windy, lots of water falls, and internet speed is not a priority. We had a very relaxing and wonderful long thanksgiving weekend here. Bradley was so responsive and we could check in early and checkout late. Great place. "

"Stayed over Thanksgiving break 2025. Best family trip ever! Cabin has everything you need. Hosts were gracious to have heat on when we arrived and firewood stocked. We took full advantage of the fireplace round the clock while we were there in 30 degree weather. Grabbed a great steak for the grill from Meat and Fish in Cashiers. Ate at Happ’s and The Local.Rode horses at Arrowmont. Hiked High Falls. Fished the dock- fished the public access from the cabin up to Tuckasegee. Cut down a Christmas tree at the farm across the road. Couldn’t have asked for better. Coffee drinkers: no filters necessary! Mesh filter in coffee maker. I recommend the Pisgah Roasters ground coffee you can find in town. Yes the steps are a lot but they didn’t stop us at all. We drove in a 4x4 diesel and the driveway pull in was tight- tip: go to the second driveway entrance and make a 2-3 point turn in. "

"Our stay at Mom’s Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy, spotless, and filled with warmth — you can tell it’s been cared for with love. The highlight was definitely the balcony overlooking beautiful Lake Glenville — the view was breathtaking at every hour of the day.We enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee while watching the light dance on the water, and quiet evenings surrounded by nature’s calm. The cabin had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds, making it the perfect mountain retreat.The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made sure every detail was perfect. We left feeling refreshed and grateful — Mom’s Cabin is a true hidden gem by Lake Glenville!"

"We loved our stay at the Blue Ghost Cabin. We were here with peak fall colors so the view of the waterfall from the porch was extra gorgeous. The cabin was perfectly outfitted for our needs and super cozy. The host was really communicative and helpful when we needed anything. "
