"My daughter played at the Intl. Softball WS. So we were at the fields all day for several days. The house was a great getaway to come back to recharge. Great place!
"I was in town for a few days of work and brought my family with me. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed the house and the backyard in particular. The location is great. Easy access to the freeway and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops close by."

"It was a great stay .. mini splits in all rooms & ac running great all night. The only details I didn’t like since I’ve stayed in other rental houses was that there was VERY LIMITED kitchen appliances (spoons , pans , containers etc.) also there was about one blanket in each room only NO extra blankets ..."

There really isn't anything in Hidalgo itself. You need to go to McAllen for food or shopping but this hotel is perfect to stay at while attending anything at the State Farm Arena and it worked for us.
