"Great hosts, clean property, right next to the lake!"

"Bad points:When we arrived we noticed muddy footprints from the front door to the back and from the master bedroom to the two bedrooms on the other side of the house. One of the sliding glass doors was unlocked. Crumbs were all over the rug in the living room and long blonde hairs were on the couch. I had asked multiple times about the EV charger. I was told that it was a CCS1 and that it was inside the garage. We ordered a CCS1 adapted fromTesla. It was 217 and we got it 2 days before our trip. Two things to know: 1)there is no garage. 2)the charger they have is a J1772. Not a CCS1Thirty minutes after we checked in, a realtor came with a couple to show the house. They all came in and went from room to room. We were frantically trying to get someone to help us. Customer Service or the property management company finally called me. They did have someone come to clean pretty quick. The next morning we had no hot water but were told flip the breaker and that did work. The outside could have been tidied up a littlebit Good points:They did refund us 250 as a goodwill gesture The bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful."

"This property would be amazing with a few upgrades and some additional attention to cleanliness. I loved the peaceful location, and the beds were all super comfortable. There were also plenty of sheets and towels in case we needed them. The host communication was prompt with any questions. Being 15 minutes or so from any restaurants, it was good to have a kitchen that is pretty well stocked with utensils and pans and plenty of plates, even ones for kids. We did find that there was some attention to detail missing in property cleaning. I found hairs on the half bathroom toilet, and the extra blankets in the basement smelled pretty bad. The host offered to have someone come clean the bathroom, which was nice. And I threw the blankets in the washing machine and took care of that issue.The outside deck is a lot more worn than it looks in the picture and the cushions on the furniture have some mildew on them. There is also a dead stump from a tree that was growing on the deck and that should probably be cut down. The fire pit area was full of weeds. I would also recommend not walking on the ground next to the deck. There are several lumber scraps and my 3 year old son also almost stepped on a rusty screw sticking out of one. It was raining a lot of our trip so we did not get to use the deck anyway. But in nicer weather I would have wanted to clean off the cushions and sit out there. It was beautiful. None of these concerns couldn't be fixed with a little upkeep. Overall good"

"Not much planning needed, it had everything. Would of loved a door from living room to back yard but it was still so beautiful to watch the sunset inside and out. Stairs down to shoreline would of been amazing but road to shoreline was easily accessible and a great place to hang out. I'd recommend this and will definitely go back."

"Great views and a very family friendly property! Our toddler was very appreciative of the windows to watch the trees, birds, and nature. The weather was a bit too poorly for us to use the outdoor amenities, but we loved the coziness of the interior very much. The only complaint we had was that the only bedroom with an overhead fan was the queen bed, and with the toddler we had to use the king, so it got just a bit warm. All in all, we are very pleased with our stay!"

"The cabin was amazing. It was well stocked with everything, including delicious pecan coffee. It’s an extremely peaceful location with no neighbors close by. It’s a bit of a walk down to the lake, if you choose that route. The only drawback was the STEEP driveway. However, my daughter was able to climb it in a Toyota Corolla, as long as she didn’t stop going up there. "

"This home is absolutely a top notch experience. Beautifully built with such a unique layout, this home is much more spacious than I was expecting. I loved the fixtures and small details in the decor with little handmade touches adorning each room. Some of the homes we stay in feel a bit dusty or beat up and this one felt very clean which helps with my ability to just melt into a space and feel at home. We had everything we needed for a very relaxing stay with the ability to cook a few meals in a well stocked kitchen. Plus I always appreciate a dishwasher to save a little time handwashing dishes. We spent an evening by the little fire out back and had plenty of firewood and comfortable seating. We’ve stayed in the area many times and this location was further south than most places we’ve stayed but we honestly didn’t notice much different in the amount of time we spent driving places. We spent a day in eureka springs exploring onyx cave and the haunted hotel and cute downtown shopping area. We spent time in Bentonville at crystal bridges and the Walmart museum. We hiked at coyote den trail. We LOVED the 90’s themed pizza place in Roger’s. And in between it all, we got to spend time relaxing in the geometric dome home. The pictures just don’t do it justice and after seeing photos and gushing about our own trip, all our friends want to stay here too! "
