「This was a "special birthday" holiday, to see some football and introduce my 13 year old grandson to London. The location of this flat is perfect -- it is possible to walk to many sites, the Underground is just a few steps away, and busses are easily accessible. We ate in. brought in "take away" (Indian, Thai -- amazingly good) and appreciated the host's suggestions. We managed, even though two of our party got sick along the way. Just note: the flat is 1000 sqare feet, so it can feel a little...

"Reasonable and good breakfast"

"Although I arrived at the hotel around 9:00 a.m. for a one-night stay, I was able to check in and access my room immediately. Having arrived in London on an overnight flight from Ghana early that morning, I was able to shower, enjoy lunch in the city, and feel refreshed enough to make the most of the afternoon and evening. The Chinese restaurant on the top floor is also excellent; next time, I would love to book a table and try the Peking duck."

■ Kind and Helpful Staff! To be fair, the hotel is a little dated, which is reflected in the affordable rates, but it is clean and very conveniently located near Paddington Station. There is no elevator, but the staff kindly helped me carry my heavy suitcase upstairs. I was especially grateful to a Mongolian lady staff member who went above and beyond by storing my luggage for two nights while I was traveling to Ireland. Her kindness made my trip much easier. This may not be the right hotel if you are looking for a full-service experience. However, if you value a convenient location, cleanliness, and affordability, I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff work hard and genuinely care about their guests, and I am very thankful for the help I received during my stay."
