「The staff were so friendly and keen to make everything perfect. The room was great. The food was excellent. I had really great dinners and breakfast was delicious start to day. The locals clearly loved the Royal Oak which was another good sign! Such a great stay and only good things to say about it!」

「Alice who owns the property goes above and beyond what she needs to do she knows every guest by there 1st name had a meal in the Cantonese restaurant (which alice runs) on Friday and the food was 1st class breakfast there a choice a good choice all the staff are very friendly beds very comfortable and clean , showers nice and hot decor could do with a up date but to be honest I wasn’t there to look at the decor there was a group of 6 and we would definitely go back 」

「Fabulous room, only slightly let down by empty picture hooks and non working lights. Bed is 2 singles pushed together which made it difficult to cuddle up, but otherwise very comfortable night.」

「Chapter Two is right in the heart of Malton, close to shops & restaurants. The rooms are spacious, with quirky decor & immaculately clean. Chapter Two is a lively bar for a G&T or cocktail, the staff are very friendly. We cycled to Malton and were abke to store our bikes in the secure lobby throughout our stay. Can't recommend this place highly enough!」
