Great Apartment

Everything was very nice and clean. Perfect size for a couple. We are young so we didn’t have a problem walking to downtown Helen but it is a 15-20 minute walk. Overall 5 stars!

Stayed here for Oktoberfest. Not as close a walk as we hoped, but walkable. Would help to know the name of the development, took awhile to find it!

Nice Respite

My wife and I enjoyed our “break from life” in Helen. This room gave us a place to rest. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations. Our disappointment was the difficulty in using the TV. Most of the apps required a sign in leaving us with few options.

Cute place

The place was very clean. Lynn was a very sweet and accommodating host. The air wasn't working good in the room she offered to move us and do anything she could to make us comfortable. We greatly appreciated her. I enjoyed having some coffee, sugar, and creamer in the room. It was a thoughtful touch. I wish there would have been a small table and chairs on the porch area being a smoker i had to sit on the hard steps out front. Besides thats it was a adorable place and close to town.

My husband and I went to Helen hoping for a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. The unit is not close enough to downtown to walk, in our opinion, so paying for and finding parking is necessary. Nevertheless, upon opening the door of our rental, we were hit with a very unpleasant odor. We also couldn’t turn on the ceiling fan without the ceiling fan light coming on. We messaged the property manager about the issues. She was very prompt with her response to us. She did come over and re-mop the floor and use some air freshener. The ceiling fan/light issue was never addressed. I can only assume this is because the odor was so bad that it was the main concern. She determined that the trap in the kitchenette sink needed to be cleaned. Parking in front of the unit was also a problem. We were offered no reduction of rental fees nor a refund of any kind. Our experience was far less than optimal and we felt we should have had been offered some kind of an adjustment - whether monetarily or by moving us to another property. We won’t be staying at this property again.
