We arrived late, the house was warm and cozy with the lights on. We cooked all meals at the property and had all of the utensils needed for all meals. There is a keurig coffee maker, I wish I had known and I would have brought my kcups. Loft area was a hit with our 3 teenage daughters. Short drive to Helen. Beautiful view! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and hope to return to this property in the future.

One of the best stays we have had. Everything about this cabin was amazing. Deer and rabbits right up to the amazing deck! We will be back!!

Nice view and location. Air conditioning doest work properly. We had to turn it off for hours and try again. It still was struggling to keep it at 75 degrees and sometimes couldn't. The loft was hotter. The beds in loft are not usable. The dprings can be felt. Two kids had to sleep on air mattresses. The manager said she'd refund a days stay, but its been nine days and ive yet to receive it. Not enough silverware. Nice wildlife.

Overall good but a few things to note….

Overall nice cabin and we had a good time but I have to call out a few things. 1. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT SECLUDED, you have neighbors all around you. They’re close but separated from you by foliage. 2. We are veteran vacation renters. We’ve been renting cabins and homes for 25 years. This is the first time I’ve encountered a cabin that restricts the thermostat. Yes folks, it’s password locked out and you can’t run the heat higher than 70 degrees. When we arrived it had been raining hard and it was in the upper 40’s. We would have loved to kick the heat on to dry the space out a bit. But alas, nope. 3. The beds are hard, the sheets polyester and all the beds have a PLASTC BED SHEET under the bedding and liner, why is this a problem? Well… it’s super hot and every time you love it sounds like you’re rolling a top a garbage bag. The above are the reasons for the lower rating. The cabin is inside of a community with easy access. Paved nicely all the way. It’s convenient to Helen and the surrounding awesome nature options! Overall we had a nice stay but I’d love to see these issues mentioned above fixed. Though we loved the property, for those same reason, we’ll stay elsewhere next time.

Nice house that needs a lot of care.

The house itself is beautiful as are its views. The location is excellent if you want to go to Helen but be away from traffic and have peace and quiet. The playground is great for keeping the kids entertained. The problem is that we were one day without water and we were given no solution other than to wait for the service to be reestablished with everything that entails being without water... In addition, it needs a good deep cleaning and some updates.

Mountain Get Away

Cabin was exactly as expected! Close but secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. Spacious and stocked with all needed necessities. Will visit again.

Lovely cabin home

Quiet lovely home. The loft was by far the best part for my family. Had a great time playing pool, watching movies and cooking dinners together. Close to Helen and lots of hiking! Great spot for a quiet family get away.

Awesome Cabin with an Amazing View

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was quite and peaceful and the view was AMAZING. We saw wildlife daily. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Property management company responded quickly to any questions we had. Beds were comfy. We are so happy we chose this cabin and will definitely stay here again.

Brief mid-week getaway

Great location a few minutes out of town, open space and wonderful views. We found every amenity we needed, indoors and out, at this completely appointed home. Plus we enjoyed very good German food at pet-friendly patio, Hofbrauhaus, in Helen, GA.

Beautiful home, great location

House and location is beautiful. Easy to get to and from Helen, Anna Ruby, and Unicoi. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Excellent conditions. The grill gas tank had a gas spilled. I was able to used once. Probably the valve have to replaced.

60th Bday Getaway

Gorgeous cabin and views

We loved our stay very much. The only cons I would point out is that the floors were dirty and the bathrooms were dirty. I travel with Clorox wipes, so was able to clean the bathrooms. The rest of the cabin was lovely and we enjoyed the beautiful view. The kitchen is well stocked with items for cooking simple meals.

Moonlight summit

Enjoyed the house. Only a few issues. There were stains on the floor and the fire pit had some broken blocks. Also there was a very slight leak under the kitchen sink. All these issues we called into Vacasa. Overall it was a nice home for a little getaway

Acceptable but needs some updating

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be acceptable. There are a few things that could make it even better. The most glaring negative is the mattresses. They are quite old and are encased in a plastic bag. One of them was particularly uncomfortable so I took the bag off and found the mattress was delivered in 1984! I did not look at the others but some of them also need to be updated. The cabin was slightly dirty, mainly spider webs in the closets/corners. This was a minimal issue but could be a bit cleaner. The only other issue, which I guess is not actually an issue, is that the kitchen had the bare minimum. There were pots/pans/plates/ silverware/etc. but no perishables whatsoever. Just a heads up, if you plan to cook, you will need to bring pretty much everything. It seems like most rentals have a few bottles of spices/seasoning, cooking oil, Pam, sugar, etc. Neighborhood/view was great. Just a short 7-8 minute drive to Helen. Loved the privacy and large yard for the kids to play in.
