Beautiful cabin in a quiet, wooded location. Very convenient drive to Helen. 25-30 min to Hiawassee and Dahlonega, which we enjoyed as well.

Best trip ever!

I have visited Helen NUMEROUS times and this was my best stay yet! The cabin is just as beautiful as in the pictures and so so clean! The property was perfect! Super close to Helen but still secluded and you have your privacy. 10/10 recommend!

Secluded and Near Helen & Falls

We enjoyed our stay at the Hoo's There Hideaway. Very nice king bed, living room, large kitchen and convenient Jacuzzi on back deck. Conveniently located 3 miles from Helen. Brasstown Bald and Tallulah Falls within 45 minute drive. Anna Ruby Falls about a 20 minute drive. Property management responsive to requests for help, except had to wait until next day for mouse traps. Bottom rack of dishwasher is missing rollers on right side. Reported to property management. Apparently not possible to fix during our 5 night visit.

We loved the cabin. There were a couple of minor problems. The hair dryer plug was broken. Stools at the pool table very unstable legs. There were some crumbs and popcorn under the couch cushions. We loved the area. saw some dear. Had fun playing pool. Enjoyed the quiet surroundings. We would definitely come back. Thank you Margaret

Great relaxing getaway 30yr anniversary.!!!

We really needed a peaceful a peaceful stay. We loved Helen and the fudge. Come back to the cabin eat the goodies. We didn't get to make s'mores at the fire pit. We will come back too.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Hoo's Their Hide-Away, the cabin is amazing and clean. The landscaping is beautiful and we even saw a bear on 2 different occasions, it was amazing. The location is great also, only 5 min to Unicoi State Park and 15 min to Helen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to go back, my boys want a pool table now, lol.

We loved staying at Hoo's There Hideaway. Beautiful home and Christmas decorations that welcomes you since the moment you opened the door. The hot tub on the back porch, the swing sets, the fire place, the pool table, everything was perfect and made our anniversary even more special, thank you so much!!

Beautiful property

My husband and cousins shared this cabin for a weekend in Oct. 2022. The cabin was clean and well stocked, as wrll as beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub for the cool evenings. The cabin is a quick 10 minute drive to Helen. The road is not paved and very narrow, but this would not deter is from staying here again. We would definitely revisit!

Nice mountain views from back deck!!

Very clean and comfortable cabin. It is in the Unicoi State Park area about 5 miles outside Helen. Great covered back deck with nice clean hot tub. Beautiful landscaping front and back. Nice large TVs in den, master and game room. Must stream through your own services but some free stations. Nice kitchen appliances including washer/dryer and stocked well with utensils/pots/pans/etc. Very private woodsy area off a flat gravel road plus saw a variety of forest animals. Had a relaxing time and would definitely rent again in future.

Fun Getaway

A beautiful quiet stay - a few modifications needed

The property is beautifully quiet. A few homes nearby but feels isolated, just like a cabin should. The light over our kitchen sink was out, and the property managers promptly replaced it. This was a must, because the cabin is very dimly lit, further burdened by the dark cabin walls. A few table lamps in the living room would make a huge difference. If you are planning to actually use the pool table, be warned. Even with short sticks, the room is not large enough and it hinders your play greatly. My kids made do but were frustrated. That was one of our criteria for booking this cabin so it was quite disappointing. However, the hot tub made up for it. While only really sitting three adults comfortably, we made do with our foursome. Be aware, the upstairs room is open up top. My kids could here everything down below, even with the door shut. The power went out due to a winter storm the day before we were supposed to leave, so we had to pack up in the dark and takeoff a day early, but the property managers were awesome. They agreed to log out of all of our TV accounts when the power came back on. With a few changes and a price reduction as the pool table is not truly usable, we would consider returning.

Nice little stay

We had a nice stay at this property, the only thing I would have changed is the fact that the mattresses were very soft, which made it difficult to sleep well on them. Otherwise, very clean accurate property description and the road to the house was not bad whatsoever!
