Cute cabin in a great location! That driveway is not for the faint of heart!I think it could probably be a little easier if there was a little more driveway on both sides at the bottom so you could get a better head start. If you have bad knees or ankles it is very difficult to walk up the driveway. There are stairs to the left that make it a little easier to get up that last hump.Hot tub is right by the front door and overlooks the street; but it is clean and hot and I enjoyed it. I recommend changing out the shower heads. Something so small could make a huge improvement. Overall it's a great little cabin and within walking distance to downtown Helen. We had an amazing girls weekend!

Rental needs attention by cleaning staff!

Positives : Well equipped kitchen. Well lit stairway. AC great! Neg:Shower curtain rings fall off easily. Loose towel bars. Old couch, sinks in when sitting.Generalized Dusty conditions, especially fan blades and cobwebs! Driveway extremely steep, parking difficult. Rt front burner on stove doesn't work. ^stairs bath tub faucet drips. Black slime on kitchen faucet+ filtered water spouts! Yuck!! We cleaned them as best we could. Extra blankets would be nice. Hot tub ok but smells musty. Key pad locks are a pain when you just want to enjoy the deck but have to use the code to re-enter. would not return to this property, mainly because of the driveway...and difficulty loading and unloading 2 cars on steep surface. We are "seniors" and really would prefer flat access to a property.On a positive note the cabin is well decorated and many needs for a vacation rental were met.

First time in Helen

Absolutely loved the cabin. Great location with walking access to the beautiful town of Helen. Tammy was extremely helpful with the booking process. We are looking forward to our next visit.

UNFAIR TREATMENT

Upon arrival, getting up the driveway is terrifying for someone who is not use to driving on an incline. Then we get out and the padlock on the door was not working to let us in. I Finally got it to work. The entire time we were, this pad lock was making crazy noises. They came out and changed the batteries but it still was not right. I did not say anything else because I am not a complainer. We took our dog and paid the pet fee and a cleaning fee. I had a sick child so when we went to leave, my husband walked thru and missed 2 spots where our dog used the restroom. HE IS A PUPPY… MISTAKES HAPPEN! THEY CHARGED US $500 to clean what would take 5 minutes at most. They exaggerated the extent of the mess to clear their conscience of screwing a family of 4 out of $500. Also my daughter threw up, she is 7. So it got on the comforter. I couldn’t wash it bc there’s no washer available! They also charged me for that which I had zero control over. On top of that, they are also trying to charge me another $200 to replace the pad lock that was broken upon my arrival. I did not fight the $500 because my puppy did have a couple accidents and I am an honest person but I am not paying for a lock that was already broken. This place unfair and I regret ever booking my one trip I get a year here. Do not do it. Who knows what they will try and charge you!

Great Location

My family and I had a great time. Loved having a hot tub to relax in. The cabin is very close to town so we were able to walk and explore Helen without having to drive. My only concern was the steep driveway but being from Florida,I'm just not used to steep hills 😂. We would stay here again!

Heart of Helen

My friend and I took our husbands to Helen for their birthdays during the 4th. This little cabin was perfect for 4 adults. We each had our own King bed and our own bathroom. The cabin is perfectly located in the heart of Helen. The hill is steep! No fault of anyone's, it's the mountains. We traveled in a suburban and parking was a little tight but once again - no fault of anyone. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything and comfortable accommodations

Check in was a breeze, amenities were great. Location was perfect. Close to everything but private. Only drawback is you have to be fit to walk that driveway a couple times a day!

Excellent Accommodations

The cabin was spacious, clean and quiet. Great proximity to downtown Helen. The only issue was the steep hill. Make sure you bring a truck.

Our stay

The cabin was really nice and clean except for the Cobb webs in the corners. The team of cabin rentals told me if I had any questions just text there number and I did have a question so I texted them and I received no call or text. Other than that it was a pretty good stay.

getaway

met long time friends for a winter get away, we really enjoyed both Helen and our cabin, all was as we would hope, down side the cabin is a bit awkward in that kitchen and living area are on separate levels, stairs are a bit steep, driveway is a bit tough, all else was great and we really enjoyed it.
