「This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished
1. Our sheets had HOLES in them!
2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom
3. No bath mat
4. Insufficient towels
5. Not enough dishes or mugs
6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

「Everything was great. We had a small problem because we lost a key to get into the property, but people at the resort helped us get in contact with the owners and we eventually go back in. Though we could not enjoy all that the property had to offer because of some temporary physical issues, it was a great place to stay. I highly recommend this property.」

「This cottage was a great little get away for me, my husband and our pup for a few days during the Spring. The home was well equipped, and very cozy. There was a major ant issue in one of the cabinets by the front door, which we mentioned to the owner, but we just left the cabinet closed for the few days we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, etc. We had asked in advance if firewood was provided, and were told no, so we brought our own...only to find out there were TONS of downed...

「I was a little put off by the smell of dogs, i actually got spray from the store. All thr coffee mug except one had broken handles and all of the chairs around fire put were broken. Hot tub was fine but i was under the impression it was more excluded than it was. I was actually a little disappointed unfortunately. 」

「The structure was good but it's a lot darker inside than expected, even with all the lights turned on. There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done. There were cobwebs all around the outside of the door and the front porch which could be cleaned up with one quick brush. Also, and I fully understand that it is an animal friendly property, but the smell of wet dog was so...

「We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed, and had plenty of room for our group of four adults, two young children, and three dogs. The kitchen was well equipped, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the games and activities available for everyone. The location was excellent—peaceful, private, and surrounded by woods, making it a great place to relax while still being close to nearby attractions. The host was fantastic throughout the...

「I will say that the floors, sheets, blankets, and towels were all clean. Very disappointed to find trash all over outside including the fire pit. Tools were scattered all around along with multiple blades in the driveway (luckily we didn’t get a flat tire). Above the sink on the light in the bathroom was a syringe with needle just laying there. The cabin smelled like cigarettes. The keurig didn’t work. And the hot tub when I finally got it turned on couldn’t be turned off. When we went to...

「The property was every bit as described. It's a nice quiet cabin for a chill weekend. We didn't really explore activities in the area and didn't need to as we planned to spend our weekend together at the cabin. The beds could be a bit more comfortable, but it's well stocked with cooking pots/pans/utensils and otherwise clean and ready to go for your stay. Also, the communication was excellent. Useful and timely and not too much.We had a great time. Recommended if you just want a quiet...

「100% would recommend a stay with Blue Maple! We stay a fair amount with VRBO properties and we have never really had any major issues, until it was 105 degrees in the summer and this listing notes specific parameters for the AC unit to be left at, which seemed to be variable at the discretion on the renter, however, it was actually set and not able to be changed by the renter. So we were in close communication with the rental agency when we needed it to be turned up/down. Tony & his team were...
