"The cold water tap was not connected to the cold water, therefore I was unable to get a drink. Think this was a ruse to get me to buy bottled water from reception There was dirty underwear and dicks underneath the wardrobe. I had to get the receptionist to arrange for it to be removed by housekeeping. The room was dusty. This is the second time I have left this feedback on this hotel for this stay. Can I suggest you monitor more carefully feedback already lef."

"I had the worst experience dealing with “The pleasant house”. I travelled all the way from London to Manchester, just for them to tell me at check in they had no rooms available. There were no staff present, just a phone number on the outside door to call. I stayed outside the building for 5 hours trying to book other accommodation. These people also refused to give me a refund, I had to get my bank to do a chargeback, which was successful. Stay away from this hotel at all costs, they are scammers."

"Host cancelled on day of travel - offered alternative which did not work for our needs: Refused to cancel through Hotels.com claiming they would charge him 250.00. Then he made a partial offer of refund of 83.00, we had paid 120.20 on platform: He then refused to honour refund when Hotels.com contacted him: He also refused to use the Booking platform message system, which is there as record. Avoid booking anything through this company:"

"Very large room with good storage. Clean throughout. Yea and coffee available in the room. Large comfortable bed. Security fob to access room area. No noise from the bar customers heard when in the bedroom. We did eat in the bar and the food arrived piping hot with plenty of choices available. Attentive staff in the bar area."

"Yes, there are many shops near the location, and there are halal food outlets. "

"John and Chris were amazing hosts! We stayed for a week and had a great time! They took out our trash/recycling daily and let us borrow an umbrella when it was raining. They also had a detailed pamphlet of things to do/eat in the area. 10/10 would stay here again :)"
