True Northwoods cabin! You'll enjoy privacy while on your getaway. Our home is next door but we won't bother you unless you need something. Kitchen amenities, outdoor firepit, Wi-Fi, 65" TV in living room, 60" TV in bedroom. Bedroom sleeps 2, fold out futon sleeps 2. The cabin is small but super clean and cozy! Lac Courte Oreilles Lake access and Grindstone Lake access + bait shop both just 1 mile away. Too many activities to list...or just sit back and relax, enjoy the great Northwoods.
The space
Completely renovated yet rustic cabin in the historic Northwoods Beach area. Located just 1 mile from both the Lac Courte Oreilles and Grindstone Lake public access boat landings. Enjoy all the Northwoods has to offer all 4 seasons. The small cabin is located in a private area. 1 bedroom with 2 small closets that sleeps 2. Living room with fold down futon that sleeps 2. One bathroom with sink, toilet, stand up shower. Kitchen with full sink, stove and refrigerator. Dining table seats 4. Electric heat. Outdoor firepit and chairs. Enjoy a morning coffee while listening to the birds, grab your fishing pole to visit one of the many area lakes, take a scenic walk on quaint roads, enjoy fine dining and refreshments at local restaurants less than a mile away. The Bear's Den will allow you to relax, have fun and take some time to enjoy the beautiful area we are lucky enough to live in!
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire cabin along with The Bear's Den driveway that can accommodate vehicles and/or boat. Front yard and side yard for outdoor activities, including firepit and outdoor seating. Seasons make outdoor activities change.


We have extra parking on our property if needed for snowmobile/4wheeler/boat trailers. Cabin is located on Trail 3 for snowmobiling or ATV'ing. During the colder months, guests should know they can adjust the heating vents on the wall heater to their desired angle. For example, if the fold out futon is being used, guests can adjust the vents upward so the heat is not blowing directly down onto them while using the fold out.
