「I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. The location is good for getting to all the Hocking Hills highlights. Overall, a great place to stay that I would happily return to for my next Hocking Hills trip.」

「We stayed for Labor Day weekend. It was a nice quant cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was ready when we arrived and it was super easy getting to and in the cabin. The location was great as it was close to most of the hiking trails. We loved the hot tub and firepit. 」

「Had a great time with family. Enjoyed the nicely set up fire pit & the very relaxing hot tub. They have most anything you may need in the kitchen and more. Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!! Melissa was great and answered any questions we had. This would be a top pick when coming back to this area. 」

「Very beautiful area!…nice size fenced in back yard…rooms were very clean… check in was just a little confusing but we contacted the host… they left a phone number to call it was then easy to get in cabin…hot was very clean & very nice to be in…I would definitely suggest renting the very cute unique cabin!!」

「Was PERFECT for a girls weekend getaway. Cabin was extremely clean, host was always quick to respond. Had extra outside sitting, bath towels, wash rags, blankets and pillows. Hot tub was clean. WiFi was a little spotty but that’s what happens when you are in the middle of the woods. Was about 15 minutes from town. Highly recommend! 」
