Blue Rose Cabins - Lincoln Log Cabin

Nice two bedroom unit with DirectTV, Wifi, hot tub, firepit, grill, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and one bath. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.

The cabin with its great location near Old Man’s Cave was exactly as described online. It was comfortable & clean with all of the necessary amenities. My family would definitely recommend a stay at the Lincoln Log Cabin.

It was beautiful and comfortable!

The hot tub was private, worked great, and was easy to access. The towels and linens were plentiful, only one towel was stained. There were even spices in the kitchen in addition to dishes, flatware, pans, and cooking tools. The seats and beds were comfortable. I'd never seen a toilet seat glow in the dark before! Each bedroom had outlets and a nightstand and plenty of storage.

The cabin was in a great location to enjoy the state park and other local spots. We know that it's likely that the "junkyard" that we saw each day on our way to and from the cabin is a sore spot with the cabin owners. I did reach out on the second day about the toilet leaking.

Very average experience at the Lincoln Log Cabin

Very average experience at the Lincoln Log Cabin. Would not stay again. Was unable to locate email check-in information and instead of resending the information when contacting the host, he told me I was incorrect; this was the only communication he had with us before, during, and after the stay. Took two approaches to make it up the hill to the cabin in our 4x4 SUV as the driveway was completely washed out and just mud - no gravel underneath at all. One bed was so uncomfortable it felt we were sleeping on a box spring; clearly a previous guest’s review from 2020 about this same issue was not addressed. Had to clean the few dishes available before using them. Very messy closet -Vacuum, board games, etc were thrown into closet and about to fall out. Enjoyed the hot tub. Easy to find house key to get into the cabin. Would have been a great stay if property was better upkept.

Get what you pay for

We weren't expecting 5 star resort quality, but were rather disappointed. Property was not clean inside, hard floors were dirty and not even swept, carpet had not been vacuumed. Mattresses were well worn and uncomfortable. "Couch" was an uncomfortable wood log frame with a futon mattress. Hot tub functioned but the control panel is broken and you have to play with the buttons to turn on jets, also was very strong on the chlorine. Area around hot tub was piled with old wet leaves you had to walk through to remove the cover. When you make the first turn off the main highway into the property it looks like a scene from the hills have eyes, massive junkyard and kind of creepy. When they say you need a 4x4 in the winter believe it, I wouldn't even drive a car in the summer due to risk of damaging the underside. The road up to the cabin is dirt and loose large rock with washouts on the sides.The good: The cabin is secluded and peaceful, it suffices for a couple day couples getaway if you just want to get away from the city and explore Hocking Hills which was beautiful.
