「寝室の下がパブになっており、夜中の12時過ぎまでドンチャン騒ぎのお客で、大声で騒ぎまくられ、翌日睡眠不足の中でドライブ。毎日とは考えられませんが、大変な夜でした。」

「Friendly and easy accommodating staff. The hotel itself was a bit old (a part of history I guess) and some switches on the wall weren’t working properly. We visited in the end of Feb but the room was cosy and warm. 」

「Our stay at the White Lion was fantastic! From checking in to checking out after a 4 day stay the staff could not have been more helpful. They were friendly & professional. The hotel is very well presented, clean, bright and bustling with happy customers. Our room was stylish with a beautiful toilet/shower room. Food was excellent! Highly recommend this hotel!」

「Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

「Our stay at the Craven Hiefer hotel The room was very tired looking ,Stains on the carpet, the sheets on the bed. Not ironed towels hard and very creased ,the crack in the wash basin ,dirty skirting boards. The lady that we saw briefly one morning was asked to replenish the tea, coffee, didn’t happen she didn’t vacuum one day she didn’t even wipe the sides unfortunately the room we had let it down badly but it was room 13 😱 Now the staff in the hotel were absolutely wonderful we couldn’t have...

「Great little place to stay, very welcoming and excellent bar staff.」

「Staff were vthe best breakfast was amazing」

「Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend」
