"Just read the other reviews. I arrived late and really felt like i was a chore to the receptionist. Then she wanted a credit card which is normal to cover drinks etc, but I asked why and she replied ‘for damage’! No explanation."

"Big Victorian hotel just outside the town centre but walkable in 10 minutes. Easy to get onto the moors behind the hotel as there’s a footpath near. Comfortable bed and brand new bathroom. Plenty of parking space."

"Can’t fault this place, it was just perfect for what we wanted. There was some essential stuff already in the property, like Salt, pepper, tea, coffee and cleaning products. Towels were also provided Nice fenced in garden for the dog.Would recommend it for a nice peaceful relaxing weekend."
