Güntersberge, the smallest town in the Harz Mountains, offers a lot of attractions, no matter what time of year, and is located in the heart of a mountain landscape rich in forests and water. The variety of offers ranges from exhibitions, museums and caves to visits to historical squares and cities. This is the right place not only for hikers, cyclists and active holidaymakers, but also for guests looking for rest and relaxation. This detached holiday home has a covered terrace with a stunning view and a pellet stove that creates a cosy atmosphere year-round. You can take a ride on the distinctive narrow-gauge railway or visit the 1100 metre-high Brocken mountain. In the winter there is a nice skiing area for families in Braunlage as well as single slopes and cross-country skiing trails in multiple villages. Popular destinations are Quedlinburg with its cathedral (25 km), Wernigerode and its castle (40 km), Gernrode (12 km), the Glasebach mine site (7 km), the Brocken (highest peak in Northern Germany; 45 km), Thale with the cliffs "Hexentanzplatz" (witches dancesfloor) and Roßtrappe, the Bode Valley (18 km), the Rübeländer stalactite caves (18 km) and the Kyffhäuser monument (39 km).

Het huisje is tip top in orde en heel praktisch ingericht. Netjes en onderhouden, zowel binnen als buiten. Alles wat je kan bedenken is voorhanden. Zeer rustige omgeving. Ligt op het einde van een zijwegje vlak aan de toegang van een prachtig wandellandschap.

Ein gemütliches kleines Ferienhaus. Modern und sauber. Deckenhöhe beträgt allerdings nur 2m, also etwas beengend für große Menschen. Insgesamt aber eine schöne Unterkunft.

Ein toller Aufenthalt! Dies war unsere erste Buchung, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Die Hütte war etwas abgelegen (so wie auch gewünscht), aber dennoch auch nicht zu einsam. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und über alles wichtige informiert. Ein Pellets-Ofen war bereits im Betrieb und für Nachschub der Pellets war auch kostenlos gesorgt. Eine kleine Terrasse mit einer Feuerstelle, einem Kohlegrill, einer Sitzgelegenheit und schöner Aussicht sorgte direkt zum Einstieg für ein tolles Ambiente. In der Hütte selbst befand sich ein offener Wohnbereich mit Küche. Gegenstände zum täglichen Gebrauch wie Backpapier, Reinigungsmittel, Gewürze etc. waren vor Ort. In der Küche gab es eine Sitzgelegenheit, eine Mikrowelle, Wasser -und Eierkocher, Ofen, Herd und Spülmaschine. Daneben war eine gemütliche Ecke mit Fernseher und Couch. Von dort aus konnte man in die Ofenecke sehen, wo sich noch eine Liege und 2 Sessel befanden. Von dort aus ist man ins Schlafzimmer gelangt. Ein großer Kleiderschrank und ein schönes Boxspringbett (ca. 180 breit) waren vorhanden. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche und ein Fenster. Alles war sehr sauber und schön dekoriert (z.B. Kerzen). Auf Wunsch und ohne zusätzliche Kosten durften wir sogar später abreisen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Echt genoten van vores ophold her! Det er et stille sted, perfekt til at slappe af efter at have vandret hele dagen, Køkkenet havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for for at lave nogle måltider, og pilleovnen gjorde det så hjemligt

Schönes Ferienhaus alles soweit im Haus, Eierkocher und Wasserkocher könnten mal ersetzt werden und an den Küchenfenster könnte man Plissees anbringen weil das Bad gleich neben der Küche ist und Grosse Leute sich im Bad nicht anziehen können zieht man sich in der Wohnküche an und da kann man leider so rein gucken. Sonst sehr zufrieden auch für Hund eine tolle Gegend , haben für 2024 schon gebucht. Schöne grüsse aus Ostfriesland

Ruhige Idylle

Ein schönes top ausgestattetes Häuschen. Sogar Gewürze, Kaffee, Zucker, etc. war alles da. Sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage war auch gut, ruhig, ländlich, Wanderungen direkt vor Ort, ebenso ein Badesee, Schnitzelstube, Eiskaffee und frische Brötchen kann man im Harzhotel bestellen... Das beste war die wind- und regengeschütze Terrasse mit Grill, Liegen und Sitzplatz und einem tollen Lavendelstrauch. So war auch trotz Regen Entspannung garantiert.

Entspannter Urlaub

Es war super zu finden, die Lage ist jedoch etwas abseits, aber nicht weiter schlimm. Im häuschen waren manche Mangel, bsp. Schublade kaputt, sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten mit denen man gut zurecht kommt. Man hat in dem Ort gut Ruhe und kann entspannen.

Wir fanden eine sauberes Haus mit allem was dazugehört. Die Küche hat so alles was für den Alltag benötigt wird und läßt wirklich nichts vermissen. Sogar der Kaffeevollautomat ist bei der Anreise frisch befüllt. DerOfen macht kältere Abende sehr gemütlich und wenn die Abende zum draußen sitzen einladen ist sogar eine Feuerschale vor Ort. Unser Hund hatte viel zu lauschen und die Abendliche Hunderunde ist mit 45 Minuten gut geeignet nach einem reichhaltigem Mahl in der Schmunzelstube

Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Alles wird absolut neu und gepflegt. Sauber ist es ebenfalls. Besonders fällt die Ausstattung auf. Es ist alles da. Wirklich alles. Von Toaster bis Fön über Tupperware und Kaffeevollautomat. Das habe ich vorher noch nicht erlebt. Allerdings kein WLAN, was ich jetzt nicht direkt als Kritikpunkt sehen würde. Die Lage ist schön ruhig. Die Kühe kann man direkt durch die Fenster beobachten und es ist totenstill. Am besten ist aber, dass der Hund es hier über alles liebt.

Natur direkt zum Loslaufen

Wir haben uns in dem wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiterempfehlen. In der Küche fehlte es etwas an Licht, aber sonst war alles für die Selbstversorgung vorhanden. Das Bad ist zwar etwas schmal aber sehr schön. Die Lage war für unsere Ansprüche perfekt, weil man direkt vom Haus aus zu stundenlangen wunderschönen Wanderungen losziehen kann man.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis, we voelden ons er gelijk thuis. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed uitgangspunt voor mooie wandelingen in de Harz. Minpunten: de tefalpannen zijn zeer beschadigd en dus giftig! Verlichting op het keukenblok is er niet. Als eigenaar hier iets aan zou doen is dit huisje zeer aan te raden.
