On arrival there was nothing to welcome us – no welcome message, no welcome pack and no book of words relating to the property with useful information like was the water drinkable, did paper need to be put in the toilet or the bin etc. There was no information about the local area, or Lanzarote as a whole which you would most likely find in other properties. There were also no instructions as to how to operate any of the appliances.As the property shared 3 walls there was only the one door/window at the frontTo get to the second bathroom you had to go through 3 doors from one of the bedrooms, and you could barely squeeze inside.The property is advertised as sleeping 4, but there were only 2 outside chairs, and only 1 inside along with a settee. We bought 2 plastic chairs so we could entertain friends who were staying nearby.Some of the appliances were looking a bit worse for wear, and various items were missing. Iron and board, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and smoke detector. Also no shelves in the oven which I have never come across before. Other items which would have been useful which we went out and bought for a few euros – pegs, chopping board, ice cube tray and washing up bowl (Lanzarote has a severe water shortage at the moment)Positives – location, good size, very clean, close to shops and restaurants.
