"There was blood on my pillow and I called and asked for new sheets and was told to turn it over staff were super rude and you have to call down to have them adjust your thermostat and they won’t. "

"I have to say I had a very bad experience here. My daughter and I were sleeping and around midnight someone aggressively trying to break into our room. I ran to the door to latch it again and said your in the wrong room. Then they tried to come back in again, I locked it again and looked through the keyhole, the person then said front desk, and by the looks of what I saw the lady didn’t look like someone working at the front desk. Nothing on her identified her as a hotel employee. She had on a low cut tank top and hoodie. I ran to the phone and called the front desk. It took awhile for someone to answer. I said someone is trying to break into my room and she said that was me and you aren’t supposed to be in that room. I said I’ve been checked in since 3pm and you just scared my daughter and I to death. She angrily ask my name. I gave it to her and she just seemed to be mad that someone double booked the room and repeated that I shouldn’t be in that room. As this was somehow my doing. Then said I’m sorry but you need to see this from side. No apologies to us at all and needless to say we didn’t sleep the rest of the night and had to leave to hotel at 4am to catch our flight. I contacted the hotel as well as ihg. Nothing has been done and now it’s almost been 2 weeks. I asked for my money back on my hotel which I believe is fair. It’s really disappointing to be treated this way. The whole point of staying there was to sleep before our early flight. "

"Property location is convenient for exploring Old Market area. Air freshener used throughout hotel was overwhelming and windows in room do not open. "

"Staff is incredible -- helpful, friendly, accommodating. Not only did we have a wonderful stay in a great location, but the staff made the difference for us from every other hotel. They graciously loaned us a screwdriver to put batteries in a new toy and were clearly working hard during breakfast to keep supplies stocked. At checkout time, our vehicle had a dead battery, so I went to the desk to let them know we'll be late returning our keys (needed to leave parking garage). When I was explaining, the clerk said, "Oh we can help! Our maintenance worker will meet you at your car for a jump!" He was there in under 10 mins and so kind. Hyatt Place saved us probably 2hrs waiting for roadside assistance. THANK YOU to everyone who made our stay fantastic -- from front desk, to maintenance, to maids, to breakfast staff. Customer service was impressive and much appreciated. "

"Snack bar is expensive. No fridge or microwave in room. No breakfast included. Not constructed very well. Could hear every footstep from the people above us. Nice for the price. One and done for us."

"Upon arrival the TV did not work.Called the front desk 4 times and no answer. So I took the remote control to the front desk and exchanged it for another one. Still didn’t work. At 9:00 pm the front desk said they could have a maintenance person check it later. I asked for a discount but the manager refused since we didn’t want to wait until after 10pm for a maintenance person. Terrible service especially since I have been a rewards member for a dozen years."
