「Jack and Becky are warm and welcoming. The barn is close to many attractions near the lake. Guests live downstairs and the owners upstairs. The breakfast and cat are great. The room and the whole barn are all wood, very stylish and interesting for city people like me. There is also an interesting heart-shape bathtub without the above-head showing faucet.」

「This was our second time staying here. We used hotels.com to book this time and did not know we had to request breakfast. But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! Will definitely stay next time we’re in Hannibal. Thanks again Chris」

「Very satisfied overall. Slightly shabby in some ways but what can you expect at the price. It was very clean, beds comfortable, and nice staff. Pool was closed for maintenance but since I didn’t even realize they had one, it wasn’t a big deal.」

「Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances....

「A beautiful old world vibe of a bygone era to this hotel with the indoor palm trees and a large indoor pool in the center of the building with plenty of space. Room was clean cool and quiet. Raj is a genuinely pleasant Manager and his staff are kind and friendly. Breakfast and morning coffee was great.」

「We were very pleased with this property. To be honest my friend and I were a little skeptical of the location and a few of the surrounding homes arriving after dark, but in daylight we felt better about the location and neighborhood. The interior of the home was inviting, spotless and advertised as is. The beds were very comfortable. 「My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks...
