"Lovely cottage with a dog secure garden (fence is approx 4 feet high all around) & there are dog walks just outside the property. The welcome package is very good & the cottage is very clean with everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The drive to the cottage is behind a mobile phone controlled gate so it is relatively secure & there is no drive through traffic. The path into Cawston village is a bit narrow & although it is a 20mph road many drivers go well over this so it feels a bit dodgy especially when the light is fading in the evening. The local pub does not allow dogs inside & their under cover bit outside (we had rain most evenings so did not want to eat in the garden area) is ok but a bit scruffy so we did not eat there. The local town Aylsham (4 miles away) is very good with free parking & a nice range of small shops, we had excellent food at the Black Boys Inn twice during the week (dogs are welcome inside as well). The cottage is a good base for travelling around north Norfolk & overall we had a lovely stay."

"We had a very pleasant stay. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The area is nice and quiet with lovely nature in the area. The cottage was warm and comfortable and had everything one would need (despite what other reviews have said). One of the best places we have stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot). Will definitely look to coming back in the future."

"The lodge is lovely and very comfortable! We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the garden area is very relaxing! We found the lodge hadn’t been cleaned that well, dirty floor and lots of cobwebs and dust!"
