「Room was clean and bed comfortable. The place looked fresh, appeared recently redone. Heads up: a damage deposit of $50 in cash is required, credit card not accepted for damage deposit. So, if you don’t have $50 in cash, you will not be able to rent a room. And, when you check out, you have to wait while the manager goes to the room and makes sure there is no damage. 」
「We enjoyed our night’s stay at this property and felt safe. However, the door to room 312 was not tightened properly. We used the upper latch to help secure it even more.
Hot breakfast was decent, typical continental style…eggs, sausage, waffles, bread to toast, packets of hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. No complaints. The attendant was kind and friendly.
Overall, we would return to the property. It’s accessible to nearby restaurants, shops, and the Newport News/Williamsburg...
