Haltia - The Finnish Nature Centre

The hotel was very convenient to all things in the center of town, night life, restaurants, attractions, so for that it was great. The room was sparse, but not other than expected. What created the issues we had were the poor AC control and ability to cool our room. The hotel asked that we keep out window closed, but we had to open it since it was cooler outside than in. The street noise made us close it before sleeping, so the room became warm during the night. So stay here knowing that if it’s warm outside, it will be inside.

Beautiful location on a lake. Relaxing place to stay. Buffet breakfast was varied and tasty. Only thing that was unusual to me as I'm not from Finland, is that the indoor pool and Sauna is only available in the morning till around 10am, and sometimes in the evening. I believe this is just a cultural difference. Staff were exceptional.

No microwave. Only coffeemaker. No lights and power switch working in the bath room and entrance hallway. No one fixed the p r oblem. Very disappointing. Will never stay at this property
