"I booked this boat as a getaway for a group of friends, and I'll be honest, we almost didn't stay. The disappointment upon arrival was immediate.The boat is far older in person than the listing photos suggest. Visible rusting covers much of the exterior, and some of the outdoor furniture is worn past its prime. Inside, the living room chairs are discolored from years of use. The main living area and kitchen were the most comfortable spaces on the boat, and I'll give credit where it's due, those areas were functional and nicely updated. However, the downstairs told a different story. The remodeled finishes and ceiling tiles feel like cosmetic fixes layered over deeper issues rather than true renovations. The grout in both showers was discolored and the wall coverings appeared to be pulling from the wall in places. As the person who organized this trip, I felt let down. We all left feeling misled by the listing. Had there been honest, accurate photos, particularly of the master bathroom, overall condition of the boat and exterior furniture, I would not have booked this property.My ask to the host is: update your photos and listing to accurately reflect the current age and condition of the boat, inside and out. Future guests deserve to make an informed decision. Transparency goes a long way, and right now this listing falls short of that. Also, the gate to the Marina routinely malfunctions at night requiring someone to climb over it. "

"This hotel is very unique and quirky. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the beach access was amazing. The cabana boy was friendly and very good about keeping it available only for hotel guests. I feel for the price however, you should have gotten more for it. There is no house keeping, sheets and towels are not changed daily which was unusual. The cell phone service is extremely poor, and the wifi is hardly any better. Strangely, many outlets are out of service. Unfortunately, the advertised “fitness center” is at a sister location, and provides only 3 equipments and no free-weights. (Even the staff recommended finding a better option.) I quite enjoyed my stay, but for how little you get for how much you’re paying, (I’m assuming most of the price is for the beach front), I wouldn’t book again."

"The location and view from the bar is perfect. Lots of fun at the bar on the deck. The hotel itself was poorly staffed, our rooms (514-515) on second floor were exceptionally loud and not clean or comfortable. Old bed, old pillows and dirty floors. If you want to party on the beach, it’s great. "

"Room wasn't ready at 4. We had a hard day and we both are handicapped. They asked to switch us to another room that was ready and comparable. I asked if still ocean view and they said yes. Got to room, NO OCEAN VIEW!! Only view was of courtyard. We were too tired to ask to be moved again. We were very upset as this was a special trip and had not seen each other in 40 yrs!"
