Overall stay

Relaxing time although the trim at the bottom of the entrance door needs fixing, it’s coming loose and up in some places so bad that you can see a lot of daylight under it and you have to make sure to really shut the door hard otherwise it doesn’t stay shut. We woke up our first morning there and the door was slightly open. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay.

Disappointed

We booked because of the indoor pool and hot tub incase of cooler weather. 3 days after booking, we were told that the pools and hot tub were closed. Tried to get our money back but was told that was not possible. Should have been in the ad.

Spring break

Great location. Quiet atmosphere but close to everything. Good size of all rooms to accommodate all ages. Easiest check in and out we’ve ever booked!

Living-dining area is much smaller than it appears in the photos. Inside the condo was clean but the balcony furniture was filthy. We used to live in Florida so I know that the sea air is rough on outdoor furniture but it was obvious this furniture hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time.

Great getaway

Condo was in great condition and easy to access beach. Only complaint is the parking deck should be labeled before entering that it is a dead end at the top with no turn around access.

Decent condo for the price

We knew this condo was the lowest price in Seawind for the dates that we were staying, so we expected that we would be making some concessions. Check in process was fairly smooth. We did not receive our text with our room code by 3 pm, so we called about 3:15 and spoke to a very professional man who said they were doing the final inspection and would receive it shortly. We received it about 3:30, so no big deal. The condo was fine for the most part except the carpet. It was in very poor shape. It was stiff and stained everywhere, especially in the living areas. The small bedroom lamp was a standing corner lap with two shades. It was wobbly and missing one bulb, so that room stayed dim. The guest bedroom had a circa 2000 tv-the picture was fuzzy, and that bedroom could’ve used a nightstand. The kitchen was very nice. The living room and master were well furnished with the exception of the carpet. The closet door in the master bath didn’t close. The patio furniture was comfortable. Also, there was no dustpan to sweep up sand and the vacuum didn’t work very well. All in all, it was a nice condo for the price and with a little tlc it would be lovely. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Relaxing by the beach

The property was very nice with no problems at all. My family enjoyed being together and making memories. The only problem is the living room carpet needed cleaning but all in all a very nice experience.

Nice place! Could have been cleaner

This condo was nicely decorated and had three separate bedrooms. However, I did feel it could have been cleaner. The carpet was filthy and there was nail clippings and other debris on the balcony. There were random dirty spots on the walls. Also, the elevator situation was terrible. We had to climb up to the twelfth floor with all our luggage on the first day due to the elevator issue. For most of our trip, only one elevator was working. I would not stay at Seawinds again because of this issue.

Condo was nice but the elevators ruined the trip for us.

We will not be staying at the Seawind ever again due to the elevator situation. There were only two elevators for over 100 condos and on the Kat night one of them broke down and my husband and I had to walk up 12 flights of stairs with a one year old and four year old because we couldn’t catch an elevator after waiting 30 minutes. It was absolutely ridiculous and we couldn’t get in touch with anyone. The condo was nice but the carpet had many stains ans just looked dirty.

Great place to stay!

The place was very nice. We were a little upset about the pool and splashed pad being closed (the only reason for renting because we have small children) because it was in very fine print, the splash pad did opened the day before we left which was great. The parking was horrible we had to drive 6 mile to get a extra parking pass that was $33 while other people were getting parking pass for $10 from the guard. parking deck was full most of our stay and it was very tight fit for our 4-runner, I recommend driving a very small car for parking reasons.

No followup on reported issues

Condo was okay - except for 2 issues. There were no curtains in the Master bedroom. Zero. Sun pouring in the windows. And the tv in the 2nd bedroom did not work. Both issues were reported on the 2nd day of the stay. Nothing happened. On the 3rd day, we reported it again. A maintenance worker stopped by but did nothing. He said he would be back and never came. We had to hang towels on the windows. The issues would have been okay had the property managers followed up and fixed these simple items - but they didn't. And we never heard from them again.
