"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "We had the most wonderful stay at Lionel‘s lovely renovated farm house! It has everything you need to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life. The garden is amazing and there even is an old fire place inside if it gets chilly in the evening. Merci et à bientôt!"

"Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Mit einem schönen Ofen (und vorhandenem Holz) ist es noch gemütlicher. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und für Hunde ideal. Es war alles sehr sauber, geräumig und fehlte an keiner Ausstattung. Mit dem Hund konnte man eine schöne Runde über Felder und durch das kleine Dorf mit Kirche drehen. Für den EK und zur Besichtigung anderer Städte ist ein Auto notwendig."

If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"Beautiful house with medieval feel to it. Nice garden with evening sun. Very spacious and clean. Boulangerie is 3 minutes away on foot. Close to the river for a walk. Close to Nancy, Toul, Bar-le-Duc and forests for walking. Owner was very nice and helpful."

"Clean, big house. We were there with 2 families. A great multi level garden with toys for the kids (inside and outside). Great patio to hang out with table and chairs. Garden is a very very big plus point. What would make the garden complete are a few movable lounge chairs. The host and property manager were very quick in responding to all our request. The owners worked hard to fix and upgrade this property and it shows. It was less than 15 minutes from where my mom grew up and where our family lives, making it ideal. "Don’t book this hotel, it may be a scam. I had a reservation, arrived before check in closed, no one there and their out of hours system did not recognise my booking. Tried the phone numbers they gave, no response, had to drive on and make a different booking somewhere else. Hotel no responding to hotels.com so delaying my refund. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!"

"Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back."
