Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. 「It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.」

「Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!!」

「This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!」

「Amazing place to re-boot. The cabin is clean and very well stocked. You rarely hear anything other than the sound of nature. Kimberly was amazing in any question we had , responding immediately. Bring you your food and stay put here to relax, reboot and re-energize here. We will be back for more than 3 nights next time. Easy drive from Bangor airport. Best vrbo experience ever.」

「My husband and I stayed for the long weekend with our two dogs. Had such a nice time, weather was great. Lake house is very roomy with the perfect lake decor all around. Husband had a great time fishing off the dock and using the kayak. Really appreciated the clean lawn and not too many bugs around. Great fire pit to roast marshmallows on. Host was perfect with communication. Can't say enough great things. Hoping we can make the trip out here in the future!」
