Beautiful Built Home in Bangor Maine. ideal for long-term stay Come enjoys all that Maine offers, boating, swimming, fishing, golf, hiking, or simply relaxing. A living room area with a dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped and provides the perfect platform for those wonderful meals. And room for privacy and comfort. Space is for two/four GUESTS and a parking area for one/two vehicles. (No pets/dogs allowed) Unit location: Approximately 6 minutes away from hospitals such as northern light eastern Maine medical center and St Joseph’s hospital, 7 minutes away from Walmart and Hannaford, 8 minutes away from downtown Bangor, Eastern Maine Community College is approximately 4 minutes away, Husson University approximately 13 minutes away, 10 minutes away from the University of Maine and many other educational facilities, shopping, and work area. There are also cameras outside of the property. NO BIG TRUCKS/BOATS OR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Please keep TV and music volume at a respectable volume because I work from home. PLEASE NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY.

Quiet comfortable apartment

We stayed 8 nights at this lovely apartment while visiting family and friends. There were a couple issues when we first arrived, but Marlon was quick to respond and make everything right. The location was very quiet and is close to shopping, restaurants, and much more. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit the Bangor area.

Nice VRBO, convenient to campus, Bangor and Orono. Quiet neighboorhood with everything we needed. Pleasant stay.

Great spot to call home

Mis-Represented sleep spaces

This was advertised as a two bedroom with pull-out couch as a third sleeping space in the Living Room. When we arrived, we looked for the linens for the pull-out. Couldn’t find any, so we called owner. He denied that it was advertised as such and offered no solution. Thankfully my friends donated a blanket as couch was filthy and worn, borderline disgusting. Also listing should indicate many steps up to get to unit. I would appreciate refund.

Awesome place

Made a weekend out of a concert, this apt was clean, quiet, we'll maintained, and quite frankly, worth more than they are charging. Take this over a hotel anyday.

Great little apartment for the road-weary

The apartment was great with all the amenities. The washer/dryer and ironing board was great. It was a serene place to stay. This place has some steep stairs, so be sure that you are physically capable of lugging stuff up to it. It would be great to have a list of locations of extra blankets or linens. Otherwise, the place is great.

Very nice apartment

Beautiful upstairs apartment above a 3 car garage. Nicely furnished with pretty much all you need. I did text the owner for a baking pan so I could heat up an oven pizza and he responded within minutes and met me at the door with a pan. Otherwise amenities were great. No complaints from me! Thank you!

Nice apartment over a tall garage

This is a nice 2-bedroom apartment located over the Host’s garage. The pictures are very representative of the property. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. There was no odor that’s been mentioned in other reviews. Our check-in was quite awkward. We received no check-in instructions either by app, text, or email. I called and left a message which was not returned. We ended up going to the property at the check-in time. Still nothing. Fortunately, Marlon lives in the house and came out to see what we were doing in the driveway. He seemed surprised that we were checking in that day. However, the apartment was ready for us. There are a couple of things to understand about this property: 1) The garage beneath the apartment is very tall. This results in you having to take 22 steps up to the apartment. Because of the design, it is all steps with no landing. It might be a challenge for someone that doesn’t do well on stairs. 2) There is some slight road noise; particularly from pickup trucks with knobby tires. It didn’t bother us but it might for light sleepers. 3) If a garage door is opened, it’s pretty loud and rattles the entire apartment.
