「The acorn in a cute little cottage on beautiful Mountain View lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations for area hikes and activities. 」

「Was very impressed by the property. Absolutely beautiful house that now has my wife wanting me to match some ideas from the cabin. Very well stocked from linens to kitchen utensils which is always appreciated. Not a negative thing to say about my stay. 5 stars. 」

「My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son, his wife and two young boys joined us for one overnight. We canoed, did some kayaking, grilled a fabulous dinner and played several of the many board games available. The house has been beautifully renovated, and the kitchen seems to hold anything you could possibly want or need. It’s about a 20 minute drive into New London, a lovely town and great place to visit. Very peaceful, beautiful scenery, and enjoyed by all!」

「While the weather was stormy we had a great view of the storm sitting on the porch! We came for a wedding and it was perfectly suited for us. Plenty of room and our host was great at communicating with us. They get a 10 star rating for their communications! 」
