We chose to skip the late-night noodle service—not for lack of faith in the food, but because the ambiance didn’t quite invite us in the way we’d hoped. It’s hard not to compare, gently, with our recent experience at Mehood Lestie Hotel Hengshan Road in Shanghai, where the atmosphere, affection, and attention to detail left a lasting imprint. That stay raised the bar in ways that are difficult to articulate—but easy to feel. Still, there’s a quiet charm to Lingnan College. With a few thoughtful touches, it has the potential to rise from good to exceptional. We look forward to seeing how it evolves. Thank you"
