「My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. Checking in was a hassle due to a wrong number listed for the hotel reception in the information provided. However, the location more than made up for it. Elephant Beach, right next to the rental room, is the most beautiful beach on the island in my opinion. The room itself was quite basic, but the views were fantastic. While there was a lot of traffic noise near the room, I still believe the rooms were good value for the price」

「Even before arrival, Mary reached out. Upon arrival she was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly! Melagrana is a beautiful hotel with a lovely outdoor patio, and evey room amenity one could need. The location is prime for access to the port, restaurants, transportation and shopping. Shower had good water temp and pressure. Bed and linens were top notch! And the breakfast was the most amazing! Thank you again for everything!」

「We had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, and the staff was attentive and accommodating. Although there was construction on the property, it didn’t bother us much. The location is convenient, close to the port but not much immediately closeby. So, you’ll likely need a car unless you want to spend all your time walking. 「家族経営のホテルで、アテネでスリにあった直後だったのですが、本当にいろいろ気を使って助けてくれ、感動しました。 ５月ということもあり、町はのんびりしていました。ビーチはほぼ目の前で、部屋からも見えて、歩いてすぐ。さらに島の端にいくと海沿いに小さな白い教会があり、そこまでの道の裏手にはサラキニコビーチのような白い石灰岩に面した海を見ることができ、のんびりだけど退屈しませんでした。あと、ポロニアの町にはミロス島の中でもおいしいレストランが集まっているそう。 空港へは車で２０分くらいだったかな。オフシーズン（５月も）だと土日に島全体でバスがないので注意です。事前にメールなどで空港への到着時間をお知らせして迎えにきてもらうのをおすすめします。 It's very near to the beach. 「Worst things first: somehow the Hotel finds it acceptable to blast pounding clubbing music later into the night on the beach right outside the room . I had to beg four times before they agreed to turn the music down close to 11 PM. Simply unacceptable. Secondly the restaurant food is poor unexciting an over priced. Third the layout of the rooms is poor. Light switches far away from everything and sockets in inconvenient locations. Finally except for the beach there’s absolutely nothing around...
