Welcome to Lakeside Oasis
Our Family’s Special Place


This cabin isn’t just a rental , it’s part of our family history. Built in 1983 by my husband’s grandparents, it’s been the backdrop for decades of lake memories. In 2021, when his grandmother could no longer live here alone, we purchased and renovated the home, designing every detail with families in mind.


Our children’s favorite space is the Bear Bunk Room, perfect for sleepovers when friends or cousins visit. Throughout the home, you’ll find little “family Easter eggs” in the décor, adding a personal touch to your stay.


There’s something magical about this place. The peace and stillness are addictive, the lake views are unforgettable, and mornings watching the sunrise over the water are pure joy. We’d love for you to experience it, too.



Guest Information
Must be 25 years or older to rent
Maximum 9 guests (per association rules)
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM daily


Amenity Passes (Available for purchase at the Administration Office, Clubhouse, or Recreation Center)




Weekday Day Pass – $8 per person
Weekend/Holiday Day Pass – $10 per person
Non-Holiday Week Pass – $30 per person
Holiday Week Pass – $50 per person
(Weekly passes are valid for 7 consecutive days starting from the date of issue)


About Big Bass Lake


Nestled in Gouldsboro, PA, the Big Bass Lake Community features:
Three private lakes — Lake Natalie, Big Bass Lake, and Larsen Lake (no gas-powered boats)
Indoor & outdoor pools, sandy swimming beaches
Recreation centers with arcade, game room, and sauna
Clubhouse, tennis courts, and volleyball courts
Private sledding hills and ice skating in winter

To protect our property, we use Know Your Guest for secure guest verification. Before your stay, you’ll be asked to confirm your ID and booking details.
A non-refundable $35 damage waiver is also required, which covers accidental damage during your stay.

Everything was perfect! The house had a great set up being on the lake with a hot tub! It was super clean and organized with a spacious living room, awesome kitchen and well stocked game room for our kids. It was a great getaway for the weekend! Our host was personable and very helpful! We would highly recommend this house to anyone!

We had an amazing stay! Plenty of space for 3 kids to spread out and not get on each other's nerves! One thing that stood out as a mom is we are so used to taking extra items bc places are stocked minimally, and that was not the case here. There was plenty of paper towels, tp, trash bags, spices, etc. We tend to stay in and cook so it was amazing to have all the appliances and spices! Host was super responsive before and shrink our stay although not much of anything was needed if at all during our stay. We plan to stay again!

the BEST weekend

Booked this house for my sister's bachelorette weekend and it did NOT disappoint! Check in was super easy and the host was amazing with communication and fulfilling our needs while we were there. The pictures for sure do not do the house justice; it is beautiful, and the backyard/ game room has everything you need to have fun. Just 30 minutes away from the casino and close to a lot of good restaurants and hiking locations. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, cooking ware, and a ton of popcorn seasonings that we found perfect for our movie night in the spacious movie/game room!! The community was very friendly and beautiful, will 100% be back!!

Slice of Paradise

Wow! What a great venue to gather with friends and family. The hosts put a lot of thought into their beautiful property, and our family really enjoyed our stay. The lake view is amazing, the hot tub was relaxing, and we loved the home theatre. The kitchen was well equipped, too, for a nice evening meal. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Great Place

Perfect retreat for our family! Wide open space inside! Clean and warm! Host was super easy to get in contact with, and was especially nice! The sled hill was perfect for the little ones! Will def stay here again with these hosts!

Perfect Oasis

My family stayed for a weekend and we’re extremely happy with our choice. Everything about this property, inside and out, is well thought out and designed to accommodate a mountain/lake vacation with modern conveniences. I appreciated that we had easy access to firewood, kayaks, games, and a spectacular view (set your alarm so you don’t miss sunrise on the lake). Lots to do right outside. The fishing was great off the dock, and the kayaks were easy to access. Firewood was provided and the host even left us a s’mores kit complete with chocolates, marshmallows, graham crackers and roasting sticks. Inside the house was very clean, well designed for kids and adults, and super comfortable. We hope to come back and spend more time at this great oasis.

Perfect rental with everything you need!

We had such a nice time and honestly I felt like the photos didn’t do the property justice. The open concept living, dining, kitchen area was perfect! We had three couples (two with kid(s)) so were curious how it would work out but it was great and we were not only comfortable but everyone had space and found something to do. We cooked meals, kids enjoyed the game room, we watched sports and movies, enjoyed the hot tub etc. The place was clean (spotless really), stocked with everything you needed, stores were close as needed, we went for walks, the general community was beautiful and gate staff were pleasant. Overall fantastic stay and will 100% consider this rental again! Thank you for the memories xoxo

Spring Break

Perfect getaway to unwind and relax. Plenty of games and activities for kids. Adults sat by the fire pit and enjoyed the lake view!! Jennifer is so easy to work with - highly recommend!

Perfect spot!

Immaculately clean and packed with tons perfectly thought out details. Owners are great and easy to communicate with. It’s right ON the lake and the hot tub is too. Super easy to get to, and not far from main Highways. Have never stayed at a vrbo quite like this before!

Gorgeous Lakefront View with Firepit and Hot tub

For a relaxing Fall vacation and to celebrate our 28th anniversary, we couldn’t have selected a more lovely home than this lakeside oasis. This one-level home has so many wonderful amenities- not the least of which is a wood burning firepit right by the lake plus the hot tub also overlooking the lake. We’ve stayed in many Poconos vacation rentals over the years and I think this property beats them all. There are no trees obstructing the view of the lake, which can be enjoyed from the interior of the home as well as the expansive deck and private backyard and beach area. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit for evening cocktails and the deck/grill for a few outdoor meals. The smart TVs in every room were a really nice thing to have as we took advantage of the various streaming services available to watch some things we can’t catch at home. Jennifer was truly a wonderful host and went out of her way to guide us when we couldn’t access certain programming. Everything is thoughtfully organized and labeled in the home- even remotes and light switches (so you know what you’re turning on!). The house instructional booklet was a great resource and after seeing how well it was put together, I’d recommend every property owner prepare such a crucial book for renters. I would give this property more than 5 stars if this were an option. Thank you to the Blash’s for sharing their beautiful home with us!

This rental is exactly as listed with all the amenities and more! The location can’t be beat. The house is in excellent condition and Jennifer has it stocked with all the essentials. Highly recommend trying this rental! It was perfect for traveling with another family.

Fun Family Getaway

Had a great time, inlaws were visiting and we were looking for a lakefront property that could accomidate us all. Was a little reluctant at first as it was a new listing and had no reviews but it ticked all the boxes so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did, there were lots of attention to detail, you can tell they really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property was very clean and nicely updated, living areas were very spacious and the views from the front window which I sent to a friend made her very jealous. The kayaks were a great added bonus and fishing from the beach was fun, everyone caught something, some bigger than others. The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and plates and nice sharp knives, and if you cook you know how important those are. Would suggest a better cutting board, and perhaps a couple of larger serving plates but all up it was very well done. ( Hubby suggests some hooks in the bathroom to hang his towel). We were there for a week and it went too fast, hope to be back. Thanks for letting us stay.

Perfect Girls Weekend

The house was perfect for a Bachelorette weekend! Everything from the location, the the amenities, to the decor was exceptional. The parking was also great; it easily accommodated 5 SUVs. I can’t say enough good things about Jennifer’s communication through the process. We would absolutely stay here again without a second thought!

Amazing!!

Had a wonderful time at this amazing house. Every small detail was appreciated. The labeling of the remotes and light switches was so helpful. This truly felt like a home away from home. The host was easy to get ahold of and great to deal with. Breathtaking views and beautifully decorated. Fishing was decent for the weather being a little chilly. Got some big bass, large pikes, small perch and sunnies too. The kayaks were a great bonus as was the small beach area. Com.unity is super quiet and well kept! The lake is super clean as u can see to the bottom even out in the middle. Just an overall great trip!!
