"The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. "The beds were comfortable, and the home was very clean and well kept, a much better option than the hotels in the area. The photos of the interior really didn’t do it justice. Speaking of the pictures, the photos create the impression that the home is far out in the country, but it is actually on the outskirts of town, only 3 miles from the best restaurants and a 10 minute drive to the Mammoth Cave visitor center. We really appreciated the location. When we return to Cave City in the future, I will definitely rent this home again, if available. "
