"Wonderful space! Elizabeth is very attentive if you need anything, but gives guests their space. Many thoughtful details (soaps, towels, games, TV subscriptions, fresh eggs, coffee, drawing supplies, treats to feed the chickens and cat, etc...). There is a composting toilet (not a downside, just something to be aware of).The upstairs/bedroom is much bigger than I expected.I stayed by myself and felt safe - driveway is gated and the cabin is all the way to the back. The entire backyard is private...

"Very old part of town, so small roads--I don't recommend bringing your dually pickup. We walked the area & everyone we met was very friendly. We enjoyed looking at the eclectic collection of homes and Mardi Gras themes people had set up in yards and on porches.Patrick was a great host and very responsive to our questions. I just wish we'd had more time to explore the area."
