"My family and I had a wonderful two night stay at the Lake Inn Ballarat. We were very happy with our clean and spacious room, which included a convenient microwave we didn't even know we needed till we did. They also provided a cot for our entire stay for just $20. A major highlight was the attached City Oval Hotel, the food and drinks were excellent, making it incredibly convenient for dinner.
The only minor drawback was that the hot water in the shower wasn't as hot as we would have liked.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and highly recommend it for families."

"Staff were all efficient and friendly , nothing was any trouble. The restaurant serves delicious food, with fresh produce and has an imaginative menu.
I would certainly recommend the motel ,location is a little way out of city centre , but only a short Uber trip away . The lake across the road is perfect for that morning stroll, playground for the children , and you can get a good coffee, and donut from the food carts.

"Absolutely fabulous hotel. Large rooms and spotless. Beautiful decor. Bed was so comfortable. Next to train station but certainly no noise disturbance. Parking on a first come basis but I had no issues finding a spot each day. I rate this 10/10. "
