Extremely disappointing experience. I didn’t even stay the night and had to book another nearby hotel instead. The smell was awful, from the corridors right into the room. The room itself looked nothing like the photos advertised on their website. It was extremely basic, with just a bed and not even a headboard. The bedding also looked old, worn out, and tired. Overall, the place was nothing like what I expected based on the photos and description. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it.

The location of the hotel was convenient for my visit. The room, bathroom and bedding were clean but the room could do with refurbishing as the decor and furniture was a little tired and dated. All members of staff were friendly and very helpful. The parking was convenient, as were the local bakery and great coffee shop.

This place isn’t 5 star but it’s affordable it’s in a great location iv stayed here a few times the staff are friendly rooms basic but nice clean and fresh shower is hot and powerful I would choose this hotel over any travel lodge premiere inn and I will definitely be back soon

All was great for the price and the staff were really friendly. The staff warned us about the lift that was not working and even came to see if the room was ok which it was. The highlight was the walk along the river into the city and the breakfast from the place round the corner. We will stay again if in town.

Room door couldn’t be locked unless you rotated the key multiple times, door didnt lock when you closed it, had to turn the knob, which left us feeling insecure. Tiny room with vinyl covered wipe clean furniture, mould in the bathroom that overwhelming smell of damp. Staff were helpful and offered us another room, however due to the above, we declined. Checked in and out in 40 minutes and stayed elsewhere. Unimpressed with Expedia as even though they took the money for the booking, it’s down to me to chase a refund from the hotel.
