Escape to High Hope Ranch, a peaceful 1,000-acre sanctuary at the top of the Texas Hill Country in Glen Rose. Whether you’re here to unwind in nature or enjoy unique ranch experiences, there’s something for everyone.

Explore over 20 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, visit with friendly goats and pigs, and take in the wide-open views and quiet charm of this working ranch. During your stay, you can also:

Play a round on our brand-new 9-hole disc golf course, Warbler Trails, designed to wind through the scenic landscape. Don’t have discs? No problem — we have them available at the Farm Store.

Stroll through our seasonal You Pick 'Em Flower Garden, bursting with colorful blooms all summer long. Guests are welcome to cut their own fresh bouquet to enjoy during their stay or take home.

Visit the Farm Store (by appointment) for handmade ranch goods, including tallow skincare, preserves, teas, and more.

Whether you prefer peaceful mornings on the porch, trail adventures, or hands-on ranch fun, High Hope Ranch offers a truly one-of-a-kind Texas getaway.

Mwalimu is the main house of two dwellings connected by a covered walkway. Mwalimu has a king bedroom with en suite bathroom and a bedroom with two full-size beds and a bathroom.
The connected dwelling, High Hope's 'Sanctuary', has two queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a hotel-style kitchenette. Great open space for meetings and larger groups to gather.
The rate is for 8 people. Our extra guest fee is $50 per person, per night.

Amazing

We both stayed at High Hope Ranch and hosted my daughters graduation party.Everything was perfect. There was plenty of room and people were so amazed by the beauty of the property.

Serinity in the hills

Our family loved this serene getaway. We enjoyed Fossil Rim Wildlife Park in the morning and a swim in the pool in the afternoon with a lot of family time on the large deck and beautiful grounds.

Wildlife Natural Habitat

Mwalimu, High Hope's Villa with Pool was so peaceful and relaxing. The layout of the main house and sanctuary was perfect for our girl's trip. Everyone slept so well. We had so much fun, swimming, checking out the books and fun artifacts. AND my big white dog loved exploring the ranch!
