The Nestle Inn studio apartment at ‘the Herefordshire’ is newly remodeled in 2023 & still has that clean, newish feel.
You will park under the carport and follow a walkway to your apartment door where you will climb two small stairs, (see photos) enter your door code and step right into the kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, pour over coffee maker, electric kettle, coffee, decaf, assorted teas, plates, paper plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, wine bottle opener, and napkins. There is no stove, you may borrow a crockpot, hot plate or insta-pot if you need to cook.
Go up three steps (see photos) to common area with a queen bed, ceiling fan, mini split AC/heater, dining table, two large sectional couches each about the size of a twin mattress, wall mounted big screen TV and private bathroom with custom built barn door.
Once settled in, the historic downtown Square is a two minute walk to shop, dine and play or turn at the blinking light in the town Square to walk over the river bridge to Heritage park on the left and more shopping on the right. At Heritage Park enjoy a walk along side the river following it to big rocks park or enjoy the playground equipment. From the Herefordshire to the farthest point at big rocks park (and snow cone shack) it's about a mile walk with lit pathways for evening walks. We are centrally located in Glen Rose less then 10 minutes away from most attractions. Enjoy golfing, Big Rocks Park, Dinosaur Valley state park, Fossil Rim animal safari and much more or stay longer to enjoy exploring a day trip to Waco, Fort Worth or Dallas each just about an hour drive. This apartment features one queen bed and two twin size very comfy couches perfect for children, adults welcome to couches but it can become over crowded with all adults. Owners live and work in the main house, feel free to say hi if you see them outside, they're very friendly and enjoy meeting new people. There is a restaurant across the street and several more in the historic town Square, yummy local food as well as fast food just minutes away. Fridge and microwave handy for those leftovers & cold drinks. Your roomie private bathroom includes a brand new shower, towels, brand new commode, toilet paper and hairdryer. Find extra sheets, pillows and blanket in the cabinet by Custom barn door. Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything Glen Rose and the Nestle Inn studio apartment has to offer.
