"Stayed for 2 nights and when booking considered location and previous reviews. This great hotel lived up to expectations, from modern decor, friendly staff, super comfortable bed and brilliant breakfast (probably the best I have had!). Our room on 6th floor looked onto the Clyde and we could hear the trains leaving and arriving in Central station, but it did not bother us at all. I would not hesitate to stay again."

"My new favourite in Glasgow! Nicely located between the city centre and the ovo hydro which was ideal for our stay. Rooms are beautiful as is the rest of the hotel. The staff at reception, the bar and at breakfast could not have been more helpful and friendly. I only checked out a few hours ago and im looking to book my next stay."

"Great location, staff were excellent - courteous & friendly. We stayed as an extended trip for my husband's birthday & upon arrival in the room, there was a hand written note along with some chocolates. Such a kind gesture. The hotel is older, and looking tired in parts however the decor is really lovely especially if you are a fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh ( which I am!) Complimentary drinks came with the room ( soft drinks, beer, wine, water & some spirits) Bed was very large and exceptionally comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would definitely return. "
