Top Gladwin County Recreation Area Hotel Reviews
Riverwalk Place Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Stayed in a King Jacuzzi room. The room was nice with a great view from the jacuzzi. However could not use the jacuzzi with the blinds open. Very clear 1st floor view from the walking trail 😞. The bed and pillows are good if you like them lumpy & firm. Besides that it's pretty nice for the most part. The spa was quite nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming."
Quality Inn Clare

"Friendly staff, clean hotel, good area the only complaint was the other super loud guest but that wasn't a hotel issue..Will stay there again my next time in michigan."
Lost Arrow Resort

Cozy 1-bedroom studio cabin on Secord Lake 2.5hrs north of Detroit.
10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing place, honestly! A perfect getaway for exploring adventures or just a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life and work. An abundance of state land to trail walk or just cruise the groomed dirt roads knowing the main dirt roads all lead to a paved road, i.e., Three Rivers Road, M61, Sterling Road. The tranquility of the cabin's area...utter peace and stress free. No dogs barking. No emergency vehicle sirens. Just chirping birds, bustling leaves, and a nice river down the back hill. And, the sun sets on the back of the cabin and really makes for a nice evening! I am quite certain that we will be back!P.S. The water/coffee stand is a damn nice touch. K-cups were on site, just don't forget your half/half and sugar! "

"We absolutely loved staying here! Very clean and the hosts provided everything you may need. The hosts were excellent and very quick to respond during our stay. We also loved how dog friendly it was and our pup thourghly enjoyed the big fenced in back yard and being able to run freely! We would definitely book this cabin again!"

Waterfront/Espresso/Wifi/Games volleyball/Beach/kayaks hammocks/Darts/Pet/Creek
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time. Cabin was right on the lake with a nice small "Beach" area set up and maintained to enjoy. Especially liked the small stream running though the property, and the Sasquatch trail for extra features. It was very hot (in the 90s) while we were there and the window AC unit mostly did the job with just a couple of too warm spots inside. The water is on a shallow well which is typical in the area for cabin but it did have a strong swampy smell so bring your own drinking water for coffee, brushing teeth, etc. We found the cabin very comfortable in general with lots of space outside. We were not a fan of the memory foam mattress topper due to lack of support and heat retention, but everyone has their own preferences, We were able to tolerate it and have slept on worse. We would come back again."
