「NICE PLACE」

「Upon arrival, the owner was standing at the main lobby desk, alongside another employee. He has zero customer service skills. Acknowledge every guest as they enter and show eye contact, add a smile! The property is very dated. My room stunk - a simple air freshener powder on the carpet before vacuuming could go a long ways. I had to crank the a/c in late October to help with the smell. It’s an ideal location and the ladies at front desk were very kind. Breakfast - forget about it. A one bed...

「I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction. This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake. Just avoid this place. Very dirty.」

「This place was awful! I reserved a room through hotels.com and when I went to check in, the rude guy at the front desk said they do not use online reservations and refused to let me check in. I showed him the confirmation email and he still said they do not use online reservations. I had to find another hotel to stay at and I had already been charged for this one. Luckily the hotel next door (Rocky Mount Inn) was very nice and the front desk clerk was super helpful.」
