"I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. "The ad is misleading because it is not located on the beach - it is a 5 minute walk inland. You have to type in 'Joevanna Cottage' (with 2 n's) into Google Maps to find the correct location. Also, there are small ants in the room. It was only for one night so it was ok. The plus is that there was hot water for the shower."

"This hotel is wonderful. You can snorkel with turtles straight from the beach, there is a lot of coral so you will need beach shoes. There are plenty of sun loungers, bean bags and cabanas. It is approx 10 minute cycle from the port and it’s possible to rent bicycles directly from the hotel. The family room was a good size, very clean and beds really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Greta variety including a fresh egg station. Small play area for the children. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back"
