Gidleigh Park Hotel A superb establishment that does an affordable lunch menu. The a la carte on the day of taking was £95 however.

Teign meet. The junction of the North and South Teign rivers should be called "Teign Meet", although, unlike Dartmeet, there is no car park or tea shop. It's a pretty spot by Leigh Bridge on a no through road near Chagford which leads to the Gidleigh Park Hotel. Of the two, the North Teign on the far side is much the bigger river. Downstream is right.
