In great area close to dining and shopping options. Room was clean inside a beautiful building. The ac was so so so nice kept the room cool even though it was 36 in July and so humid outside. We had a great stay!

A lovely stay

Everything was great thanks. The breakfast guy was outstanding. I think his name was Matteo He managed the check in and all the breakfasts at the same time- he never stopped. We were so impressed. I hope he’s paid well because he earns it!

Elevator is old fashioned and did not work when we arrived but they got it working pretty quickly. Carried our bags up 4 flights of stairs as the hotel is on floor 3 and 4. Staff is amazing; very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was 9 euro and was a great deal.

This was my second stay at Hotel Liberty Genova, and I thoroughly enjoyed both visits! The hotel is housed in a stunning early 20th century building, and still has an original cage elevator - which adds a lot of charm! The setup doesn’t make the place feel like a hotel; rather, I felt like I was staying in a classy apartment building. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And the location couldn’t be better … it’s on one of the main shopping streets, and a short walk from the Genova Brignole train station, Piazza de Ferrari and the Centro Storico (historic center). Lots of good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. Great value. Highly recommended!

Recommend

Very good hotel located near Brignole train station, Vola bus service and city bus transportation. Safe location, front door always locked with key access. You do have to be buzzed in to get through the second set of doors and that’s only available until midnight. Not sure what happens if you stay out later than that, so make sure you are prepared. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was on a street side. And the building has an elevator. Good value for the money.

Honestly one of the best stay i ever has in my life. The hotel is beautiful and the room is big enough for two person. It is really well located, because it is of walking distance to everything. There is clim in the room and it works really well, cause sometimes we had to turn it off cause we were too cold. For me the big bonus was the lady at the desk. She works in the afternoon and she is the sweetest. When we arrived, she gave us a map and some recommendation of places to go visit or eat to (we asked for it). What sealed the deal for me is that we had problem with a delayed luggaged and she helped us by translating in italian for us and making some calls with us. She even let me borrow her charger, cause i didnt have mine. She also calles us a taxi when we needed one. You can see she cares about the people that are staying at the hotel. If i ever go back to genoa, i will come back to this hotel.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They spoke English and some Spanish. I highly recommended this hotel as it is only blocks away from one of the main Piazzas in Genoa.
