We were upgraded to a unit with a full kitchen and washer a few days before we arrived which we thought would be great! Unfortunately it was disappointing as the unit did not have wifi, which is specifically why we chose the original listing. The host then brought us a SIM card to use with data on it - we were told it was unlimited however there was only 1gb. When we let her know, she brought us another SIM card claiming again that it was unlimited however it was not working at all. We only had one day left in our stay at this point so we just let it go.
We had to purchase additional data, as well as laundry detergent to use the washer, and basic essentials for a kitchen such as a spatula, tongs, a lighter (because the stove is gas and would not light otherwise) and oil. There is a bunch of plates, cutlery, and pans. However they ended up being useless without the other necessities to cook so we ended up spending way more money than originally budgeted to purchase our own. We left those items in the property so hopefully the host leaves them for the next guest as it is absolutely useless to upgrade people to extra appliances which they cannot use.
The host was courteous enough however she was incessant in her WhatsApp communication in the upcoming days, asking us twice if everything was okay when we hadn’t even checked in yet. But when I had messaged her about the wifi situation and about the stove, I didn’t hear back promptly.
The area is also not the greatest.
