"First of all: great location! New, clean… staff on site very friendly. Some notes: Make sure if you have any advanced question / reserve parking (recommended) etc call the property directly, not the “manager”, that is an anonymous help line, of no use). A few aspects that differ from other B&B: - no coffee/tea maker in the room. - internet was pretty bad (at least in our room), you can get some messages through, but I couldn’t get into vpn, not good enough for doing work. - breakfast not included in room price (was clear when booking). Just be aware. But the great location balances these downsides. Nice touch: a small bag of Taralli as good bye present. Finally: The address from the Expedia confirmation “ Via Cala Paura 10, Polignano a Mare” in GoogleMaps brought me to a wrong location!! "This is a beautiful old villa set in acres of olive trees. One couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The hotel is brand new and is showing signs of some work to be done. The roads are pretty rough and could use some better maintenance. This is important expecially at night when driving in and out can be a bit sketchy. We stayed in the Trulla house which is a charming traditional house away a bit from the main property. Watch your head on the low stone doorways! Overall, in a year or so, once they work out the kinks this will be a wonderful property. The surrounding area is lovely as well and there are two one-star Michelin restaurants a few kilometers in either direction."

"A wonderfully immersive experience! Whether you want to enjoy the beautiful pools & spa or trek further afield to visit the sweet nearby towns and trullis, the Borgo is the perfect place to be situated. From the beginning we were well taken care of by Giovanni the concierge, Ciro our on-site ‘mentor’, and the lovely La Frasca breakfast waitress from Locorotondo who provided dinner recommendations in our village. Can’t wait to go back!"
